COZY CABINS TO KEEP THE COLD OUT
The Mohican Christkindlmarkt’s vendor cabins are inspired by the traditional wooden market stalls found at rural Christmas markets throughout Germany and Austria. Constructed of solid wood with durable metal roofs, the cabins are designed to reflect the historic character and atmosphere of European Christkindlmärkte while providing vendors with a sturdy and weather-resistant space during the winter season.
Though simple in design, the cabins are well built and intended to withstand harsh winter weather conditions, including snow, wind, and freezing temperatures common during December in Ohio.

Setup & Load-In
-
As the market operates within a confined pedestrian area and closed roadway, vendors are generally not able to park directly beside their cabin during setup or teardown. Vendors should plan accordingly and be prepared to transport merchandise and supplies a short distance to their assigned space. Parking is typically available within one block of the market.
Cabin Care & Decorations
-
Vendors are welcome to decorate and personalize their cabins in a festive and professional manner. Limited use of small nails, screws, hooks, and staples is permitted for displays and decorations; however, vendors are expected to avoid unnecessary damage to the cabins and should use reasonable care when installing merchandise or signage.
-
All nails, screws, staples, tape, zip ties, and other materials must be completely removed at the conclusion of the vendor’s participation. Vendors may be held responsible for excessive damage beyond normal wear and tear.
